Zeguan Wang, PhD
Principal Investigator
Dr. Wang will join Harvard as a Rowland Fellow and Principal Investigator in July 2026. He received his B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and his Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT, where he trained with Ed Boyden. His research focuses on developing optical and molecular neurotechnologies to map neuronal dynamics and applying these tools to uncover fundamental principles of brain function and neural computation. He is a recipient of the Guo Moruo Scholarship (the highest honor at USTC), the Alana Fellowship, the McGovern Travel & Technology Award, the J. Douglas Tan Fellowship, and the Rowland Fellowship.
